About Me
My Story in 60 Seconds
In 2010 I boarded a 7,000 km flight from Nanchang to Paderborn, and quickly picked up two local essentials: writing code by day and ordering Currywurst + Döner by night. While earning my PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor’s in Paderborn, I developed the cybersecurity mindset that drives my work today. Berlin is now home, and as a naturalized German citizen, I am proud to live by and contribute to Europe’s values of privacy, transparency, and digital responsibility.

I’m an independent consultant based in Berlin, specializing in cybersecurity and AI. I help small and mid-sized businesses adopt AI securely and build trust and security into their digital systems.
Before starting my consulting practice, I worked several years as applied scientist at Amazon Web Services, contributing to Amazon Q, CodeWhisperer, and CodeGuru. My work includes developing security analysis tools, building generative AI solutions to automatically resolve security issues, and creating intelligent code agents that help developers write code more efficiently.
Prior to Amazon, I was a research associate in the Secure Software Engineering Group at Paderborn University in Germany, where I began my journey in cybersecurity and earned my PhD with distinction under my PhD advisor Prof. Eric Bodden. My academic background includes award-winning research in application security, as well as master's and bachelor’s degrees in computer science from Paderborn University.
